Vinyasa is a form of postural integration or asanas which were designed to maintain a healthy fit body in preparation for meditation.  Vinyasa means synchronizing movement with breath. Kara teaches an athletic vinyasa style-inspired by Ashtanga Vinyasa & Power Yoga- rhythmically paced with longer holding poses.  

 

A challenging & invigorating class that helps improve posture and promote strength, stamina, flexibility & balance while quieting the mind.  Includes Sun Salutations, Standing, Seated & Reclined Poses, Backbending, Inversions & Arm Balances.  

Be prepared to sweat & be energized!  Beginning, All Level and Int/Advanced classes offered.

 

Having the guidance of a teacher is important, but the learning that takes place with a disciplined personal practice is also important.  Kara hopes to provide the tools and inspiration for developing a confident personal practice...especially when our busy schedules or life circumstances prevent us from attending classes.
